Having no experience with cs4 before this assignment i think that i have learned a lot on how to create, copy, cut and paste images and create abstract artwork. It was very helpful to have nathan working on similar assignment right next to me because he has lots of experience with using photoshop and he was ablew to assist me with things that didnt make much sense in the tutorial videos. My first picture that i created was more of a inside joke with a few pictures so it wasnt a real in depth project, so i did my abstract art after it to feel more completed in this project.

1: Key-logging is a predominant issue in our society today due to the fact that so many people access personal information online and are easily hacked by programs openly available for online download.
2: The IT component that is involved in key-logging could range from the computers used to programs used to steal information.
3: Potential solutions to key-ogging would be: installing programs to defend your information, constantly changing your passwords, Scramble your input when typing sensitive information, such as account names or passwords, If you find a small intermediate device between the keyboard and the tower, this is likely a keylogger, Mask sensitive typing by alternating regularly between text fields, using the mouse or “Tab” key. By applying these few techniques you can successfully avoid keyloggers and keep your information safe.

February 12th: Brainstorming on what to do with my project. A few ideas but none that im too sure about. Ive decided to either help out a local golf shop get customers or the same with a taekwondo dojo.
February 19th: Plans were made to create the project. decided on actually helping my father create a pamphlet to try nad get himself another job since he was fired.
February 26th: different styles of pamphlets were chosen and finally we decided to do a 3 sided pamphlet, through trial and error the pamphlet was finally created.
March 2nd: My father applied for his first job. Sadly he did not get it but there was a good comment thrown in about his quality pamphlet and how it was a genius idea and should be used for his other golf applications.
March 9th: Overall in evaluation of this process i believe i chose a relevant subject and that i did a good job helping out my father to augment his job application process. I am even more pleased with the product itself and how it turned out. I put a good amount of time into making it to how my end user wanted it to be made and i think i accomplished my goal well.

This project was more of a personal assignment then a society based project. Making a pamphlet for my father to use for his interviews does impact society however. If making this pamphlet was to help my father get a job then not only would it stimulate the economy over someone who doesn’t have a job but it will also prevent our family from relying on the government for cheaper food costs at school or welfare. Besides those projected social impacts, actual impacts that have already occurred would be that of my family staying together. Many families break apart because of financial troubles but because my father is trying to get another job due to me jump starting him by making a pamphlet is a great social achievement and should not be overlooked.

The product rough draft was created and shown to the end user. After making changes to the formatting and font of the pamphlet the rough-final draft was shown to the end user again but this time the product was acceptable with only one change left to make. the end user wanted the pamphlet to be more personal, seeing as the pamphlet was to be used in a job application. After much talking and extended thought the decision was finally made to put in a personal statement in the very front page on the pamphlet. Once the end user created a personal statement it was added to the pamphlet and the end user stated that the product was acceptable and that it should be printed out and used.

i have a pretty good idea of what my pamphlet is going to look like. i feel like im on a good path to finish this project.
In order to begin this project preliminary skills are required. Certain skills to create a pamphlet are as the following: understanding of Microsoft word, understanding of how visually stimulating images and colors affect people and in what ways, and how much information is the correct amount to give out in order to inform, but not overwhelm.
